Reading the signals

The floor is the price per Mbps the marketplace will clear at, given current demand against federated supply. A rising floor with a rising trend means buyers are competing for scarce capacity: price ahead of the build, or bid for the open request.

Surge is the strongest signal: requested Gbps outrun available supply on that route. High means tightening; moderate means healthy two-sided activity; low means supply is ahead of demand and price discipline matters more than speed.

These signals are federation-wide, not just your spans. Pair them with the per-route supply on the Sell page to see where your capacity is most valuable right now.
