Dispatch.
The field board. Every open work order, its priority and SLA window, and the technician carrying it. Below it, the OTDR reader turns an instrument distance into the exact spot a crew has to dig.
Work orders

OTDR geolocation
distance to dig locationAn OTDR pulse locates a fault by distance along the fibre. Slack loops coiled at poles inflate that reading; subtracting them and interpolating along the cable route drops a pin exactly where a crew must dig.
| Work order | OTDR | Slack | Map dist | Fraction | Dig location |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| wo-fc1-1 | 610.3 km | −18.3 km | 592 km | 65% | 39.32409, -98.23183 |
