The fleet, counted end to end.

Every device in the registry rolled through its life: spares ready to deploy, what is carrying traffic today, what needs maintaining, and what is heading for retirement. One getter, one rollup, scoped to the spans this operator owns.

62 of 140 devices (44% of the fleet) leave vendor cover inside the next 90 days. That is a refresh decision, not a trickle: batch the extended-cover or replacement call before the window closes, or the maintain burden lands all at once.

Pair this with the end-of-sale count (9) and the end-of-support count (8) below. Devices leaving cover that are also past end of sale are replacement candidates, not extended-cover candidates.

Lifecycle rollup.

The funnel is read top to bottom: spares flow into active, active drops into the maintain burden when it fails or leaves cover, and the retire queue is where end-of-sale and end-of-support devices collect for a replacement plan. Every count is sourced from the same registry engine every operator gets.

How these counts are built.

Each count is a rollup over the registry's device and inventory model. Active counts devices carrying live status; the maintain burden sums failed or in-maintenance devices, open RMAs, and warranty states; the retire queue counts devices whose hardware has reached end of sale or end of support. No second source of truth: the numbers here are the numbers the registry attests.
